RUSSELL ATHLETIC CANADA ANNOUNCES PARTNERSHIP WITH UNIVERSITY OF GUELPH DEPARTMENT OF ATHLETICS

St. George, Ontario (May 2008) – Russell Athletic is pleased to announce the signing of a new one-year agreement, with the Guelph Gryphons Department of Athletics, as the official supplier for athletic apparel during the 2008-2009 season.

The agreement will include on-site exposure for Russell Athletic in the W.F Mitchell Athletic Centre, Alumni Stadium, and Gryphon Centre. Russell will also participate in promotional activities for Gryphon home games. Chad Currah, Division Manager at H.D. Brown Enterprise, affirms, "Russell Athletic is thrilled to be working with the Guelph Gryphons. The Gryphons have a strong history and tradition of excellence in athletics. Russell Athletic looks forward to working with the Gryphons athletes and coaches and providing them with products and support needed to compete and be successful in their chosen sports."
